Now we are looking for a dynamic, outgoing, and enthusiastic Barista with a strong background and experience in Food & Beverage to join our energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate team at Grand Hyatt Bali.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
  • Ensuring the delivery of brand promise and providing exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Ensuring that minimum brand standards have been implemented.
  • Embracing all Touches of Hyatt and the Food and Beverage Top 20.
  • Preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and non-coffee drinks according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Presenting menu items, answering enquiries, and making recommendations to guests regarding beverages and light food offerings.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of coffee equipment and work areas.
  • Ensuring high standards of personal presentation and grooming at all times.
  • Handling cashiering responsibilities if required and supporting daily outlet operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of experience as Barista in a hotel, caf, or high-volume restaurant, preferably with an international brand.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso machines, and beverage presentation.
  • Passionate about coffee culture, service excellence, and guest engagement.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken.
  • Highly conscientious, reliable, and team-oriented.
  • Diploma in Hospitality or other relevant fields will be an advantage.
