Can you help support fast, smooth, and well-organised bar operations that contribute to an exceptional guest experience

Savaya Group is looking for a Barback to support the bar teams across our Bali operations. You will help keep bars stocked, clean, organised, and ready for service while working closely with bartenders, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Operations, Security, and venue leadership.

This is a hands-on casual role for a reliable and energetic team member who takes pride in maintaining high standards, working efficiently during busy service periods, and supporting the team behind the bar.

What You'll Experience

What You'll Be Doing

You will support bartenders and the wider Food and Beverage team by ensuring bars, service areas, equipment, and supplies are clean, stocked, and ready throughout the shift.

You will assist with preparation before service, maintain efficient stock levels during busy periods, clear and clean bar areas, and support the safe and organised operation of the venue. You will work quickly and professionally while helping the team deliver consistent service standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting bartenders with bar preparation, service, and close-down duties
• Stocking bars with spirits, wine, beer, soft drinks, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and other supplies
• Replenishing stock promptly during busy service periods
• Preparing garnishes, juices, mixers, ice, and other bar ingredients as directed
• Collecting, washing, polishing, and organising glassware, barware, utensils, and equipment
• Keeping bar counters, back bars, storage areas, fridges, freezers, and service stations clean and organised
• Clearing empty bottles, used glassware, rubbish, and other items safely and efficiently
• Supporting the collection, rotation, and storage of beverage stock and supplies
• Checking stock levels and reporting shortages, damage, breakages, or product concerns to the relevant supervisor
• Following stock rotation, storage, labelling, and handling procedures
• Assisting with the safe movement of boxes, kegs, ice, glassware, and other bar supplies
• Supporting the set-up, operation, and breakdown of bars for events, functions, and high-volume service periods
• Maintaining clean floors, workspaces, equipment, and service areas throughout the shift
• Using cleaning products, tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment correctly and responsibly
• Following responsible service of alcohol, workplace safety, food safety, and hygiene requirements
• Reporting spills, hazards, breakages, equipment issues, and maintenance concerns promptly
• Working closely with bartenders, servers, runners, Housekeeping, Operations, Security, and venue leadership
• Helping minimise disruption to guests while maintaining efficient back-of-house and service-area operations
• Maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and clean uniform throughout the shift
• Completing other reasonable duties required to support safe and smooth venue operations
  
  

Could This Be You

• Have you worked in a bar, restaurant, hotel, resort, beach club, nightclub, event venue, or similar hospitality environment
• Do you have an interest in beverage service, bar operations, or hospitality
• Are you reliable, energetic, hardworking, and willing to support the team during busy periods
• Can you work quickly and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and attention to detail
• Are you comfortable working on your feet for extended periods in a busy operational environment
• Can you safely lift, carry, move, and organise stock, ice, glassware, and bar supplies when required
• Do you understand the importance of hygiene, cleanliness, safe manual handling, and responsible alcohol service
• Can you follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work effectively as part of a multicultural team
• Are you able to remain calm, professional, and helpful during high-volume service periods
• Do you take pride in maintaining clean, organised, and well-presented work areas
• Can you identify and report stock shortages, hazards, breakages, spills, and equipment concerns promptly
• Can you communicate professionally in English or work effectively with an international team
• Are you prepared to work casual and flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, evenings, late nights, and special events when required
