Backend GO Developer (join ASAP)

Role Description The Backend GO Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang) to support web and mobile applications. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, optimizing existing code for performance and scalability, integrating with databases and external services, and troubleshooting backend issues. The role also involves collaborating with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to ensure reliable system behavior and smooth deployments, while following best practices in security, testing, and documentation. This is a contract, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, working closely with local team members to deliver high-quality backend solutions as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming, including hands-on experience with Go (Golang) and RESTful API development.
• Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with an understanding of clean code principles, design patterns, and testing practices.
• Candidates should possess basic Front-End Development awareness to collaborate effectively with front-end teams and ensure smooth integration between backend services and user interfaces.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, API security, performance optimization, and version control (e.g., Git) is beneficial.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia, and effective communication in collaborative, cross-functional teams are important.
