We are looking for a Backend Developer who is passionate about building reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. We're looking for engineers with strong backend programming fundamentals, whether your experience is in C#/.NET or other modern backend technologies such as Java or TypeScript (Node.js). Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using C# and .NET.
- Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend services.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and business logic.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and application issues.
- Collaborate closely with Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing backend applications or APIs.
- Experience with C# is preferred. Candidates with strong professional experience in Java or TypeScript (Node.js) are also encouraged to apply, provided they are willing to learn and build applications using .NET.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with .NET Framework or .NET/.NET Core is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Comfortable working in an Agile development environment.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- The role is based in Bandung, Indonesia, and requires working on-site. Candidates must be based in Bandung or willing to relocate.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, or Web API.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of software design patterns and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with automated testing.
