Responsibilities
- Design and develop web back-end using PHP (Laravel/CI) and Javascript
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Designing new report services and optimizing existing database query for efficient data gathering and storing
- Apply dashboard optimization, to deal with slow query, output accuracy, and bug fixing in legacy code
- Third party integration to facilitate fast and secure data transfer
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance the development process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ year of professional experience in back-end development with a focus on PHP (Laravel/CI) and Javascript
- Have solid foundation on algorithm and data structures
- Strong database system knowledge, both SQL or NoSQL
- Have broad knowledge and able to develop sequence diagrams, class models, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Motivated and able to thrive in a challenging, target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Grafana and Greylog
- Familiarity of version control systems, preferably Git, Jenkins
- Understanding of SDLC, such as Agile software development
- Understanding of web security best practices.
