Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer Lead to join our team. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to drive the development of scalable and efficient backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, and front-end technologies such as React Native, Angular, or React JS. Additionally, experience in microservices, messaging, CI/CD, DevSecOps, AWS SES, and AWS S3 is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, ensuring best practices in software development.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus.
- Implement microservices architecture, messaging systems, and DevSecOps mechanisms.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based solutions using AWS SES and AWS S3.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems.
- Analyze, evaluate, and identify solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to enhance system performance.
- Ensure effective communication and influence decision-making within the team and stakeholders.
- Manage development processes using Agile principles, with a preference for candidates with insurance industry experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Developer Lead.
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a strategic approach to technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and align teams.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, React Native, Angular, or React JS.
- Knowledge of microservices, messaging, CI/CD, DevSecOps, AWS SES, and AWS S3.
- Passion for staying updated with IT trends and emerging technologies.
- Preferably experienced in managing teams using Agile principles and knowledgeable in insurance industry processes.
- Willingness to work on-site (Work From Office - WFO).
