Calling out all Indonesian Java Developer!
Working Location: Remote (onsite Batam once the office is settle)
Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)
Overview:
The Java Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend applications and systems using Java. The role focuses mainly on server-side/backend development, building APIs, integrating databases, fixing bugs, and ensuring that applications are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Integrate applications with databases and external services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
- Troubleshoot and fix technical issues and bugs.
- Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other teams.
- Participate in the design and development of new features.
- Maintain and improve existing applications.
Requirements:
Java Development
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience using Java
- Strong understanding of Core Java
- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience with Java 8 or above
- Experience developing backend applications using Java
Spring Framework
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Understanding of Spring Framework
- Experience developing REST APIs / RESTful Web Services
Database
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar relational databases
- Ability to write and understand SQL queries
Software Development
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Experience with unit testing and debugging
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology
