Baby Wipes Product Development & Packaging Manager

We are seeking an experienced Product Development & Packaging Manager in Baby Wipes/Tissue to support the development and execution of a new consumer product line.

This role focuses on translating concepts into production-ready products through close coordination with manufacturing partners and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage product development activities from early concept through production readiness

Lead development of primary and secondary packaging, including material selection and specifications

Work directly with external manufacturing partners on sampling, iteration, costing, and timelines

Coordinate with specialist suppliers as required to support product readiness

Review and approve samples, specifications, and technical documentation

Ensure quality, consistency, and manufacturability prior to production

Requirements

5+ years experience in product development, packaging, or related roles

Experience working with third-party manufacturers and suppliers

Solid understanding of packaging materials, production processes, and cost trade-offs

Strong organisational and execution skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple workstreams

Comfortable operating with limited public information and evolving requirements

Preferred (but not required)

Experience in consumer goods

Experience supporting new product launches

Exposure to multi-market or regional manufacturing
