This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with partner companies to secure employment opportunities for graduates of the Liberty Society Foundations vocational training programs. This role bridges the gap between program participants and the job market by looking, identifying suitable employers, matching candidates to open roles, and ensuring successful, sustainable job placements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership Development
- Identify and approach potential employer partners across relevant industries.
- Build and maintain a pipeline through outreach, networking, job fairs, and industry events
- Present our training programs, graduate profiles, and partnership opportunities to employers.
- Develop partnership agreements (MOUs) for recruitment, internships, or direct hiring.
- Represent the Foundation in employer meetings, forums, and events.
Job Placement
- Match graduates with suitable job opportunities based on skills and employer requirements
- Coordinate the placement process from candidate referral through interview, offer, and onboarding.
- Prepare graduates for interviews and workplace expectations.
- Track placement outcomes and provide post-placement follow-up to support retention.
Relationship & Reporting
- Maintain strong communication with employers, HR teams, and hiring managers.
- Keep partnership, placement, and outreach records up to date.
- Prepare reports on placement, partnerships, and program impact.
- Share employer feedback with the program team to improve training alignment with industry needs.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Social Work, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a similar role; social sector experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, communication, and presentation skills
- Proactive, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Empathetic toward graduates from grass root communities.
- Comfortable with fieldwork and meeting client employers and beneficiaries in person.
- Proficient in MS Office; has experience making a comprehensive deck and present it.
- Organized and able to manage multiple employer and candidate relationships.
