Role Summary

The Distributor Business Manager will be accountable for managing distributors portfolio to achieve the business plan

What You Will Deliver

  • Implement Prospecting strategy, including allocation of time and resources in the area of responsibility, coordination and interpretation of market data, senior stakeholder and relationship management and tender/offer processes
  • Forecast monthly for indirect accounts as part of region's S&OP demand plan. Forecast process to include analysis and projection on base volume, incremental volumes, new products and adjustments for gain-lost accounts.
  • Compliance with bp's Code of Conduct, Values and Behaviors and HSSE Standards.
  • Effective daily use of Salesforce Customer Relationship Management tools to manage all aspects of the account relationship and build sustainable relationships throughout the customer organization, as well as our organization.
  • Ensure utilization of our digital tools available to support territory management including the use of Turfview, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Castrol Insights.
  • Managing distributor performance by establishing distributor joint business plan quarterly and conduct quarterly business review. Conduct monthly pipeline review
  • Provide monthly business update in terms of prospect pipeline, forecast accuracy, business profitability, allocation technical resources, and other distributor business process management fundamental.
  • Interact with relevant internal business stakeholder (finance, marketing, technology, technical, supply chain, operation) to ensure the delivery of distributor performance

  • What you will need to be successful
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
  • At least 3-5 years of experiences in B2B Distributor management
  • Customer and distributor management experience with managing a complex business environment/customer is a must
  • Proven cross functional project management experience and working within multilayers of an organization
  • Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders both within and outside the organization is essential for success in this role
  • Having experience in B2B Distributor Lubricant business would be an advantage
