Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the trade finance team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of trade transactions
- Manage the team's workload, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to ensure timely completion of all trade finance activities
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of trade finance operations
- Ensure compliance with relevant rules, regulations, and guidelines, such as UCP, ISBP, and URDG
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and credit, to provide seamless customer service and support
- Monitor and analyze trade finance data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
- Lead and motivate the team, providing coaching and mentoring to support their professional development
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of trade finance products, processes, and regulations, including knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URDG, and other applicable rules and guidelines
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Proficient in using trade finance software and systems
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
