Job Description

Role Purpose:

This role is responsible for supporting the development, integration, and optimization of campaign delivery platforms across digital and communication channels. The role ensures marketing campaigns are effectively delivered through channels such as SMS, flash messages, and mobile applications, while continuously improving channel performance, placement strategy, and personalization to enhance customer engagement and campaign effectiveness.

Area of Responsibilities:

Campaign Platform Support & Integration

  1. Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of campaign delivery platforms used for marketing and engagement programs.
  2. Ensure smooth integration between campaign platforms and communication channels such as SMS, flash message, mobile applications (e.g., myIM3, bima), and other digital touchpoints.
  3. Monitor campaign delivery processes and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure reliable campaign execution.

Channel Optimization & Placement Strategy

  1. Evaluate the performance of various customer communication channels to identify opportunities for optimization.
  2. Analyze placement strategies across channels (e.g., in-app banners, notifications, message formats) to determine the most effective positions and formats for engagement.
  3. Recommend improvements for channel utilization to maximize visibility, response rates, and customer interaction.

Personalization & Customer Experience Enhancement

  1. Support the implementation of personalized campaign delivery across different customer segments and channels.
  2. Work with marketing and product teams to enable targeted messaging and customer journey improvements.
  3. Assist in testing and evaluating personalization strategies to improve engagement outcomes.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  1. Track campaign delivery performance and channel engagement metrics.
  2. Identify operational gaps or improvement opportunities in campaign delivery processes.
  3. Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance and channel efficiency.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development, platform development, digital marketing technology, or channel platform management, preferably within the telecommunications, technology, digital platform, or consumer services industries.
  • Experience in designing, building, or supporting campaign management platforms and integrations with communication channels such as SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging, or similar digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, campaign orchestration systems, and customer engagement technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with digital engagement or marketing automation platforms (e.g., CleverTap or similar customer engagement tools).
  • Familiarity with digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics or equivalent tools) to monitor user behavior, engagement, and campaign performance.
  • Proficiency in analytical and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms to support performance monitoring and operational insights.
  • Understanding of system integration, API-based communication, and platform scalability is highly desirable for enabling campaign delivery across multiple channels.

Related Experience:

  1. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development, platform engineering, or marketing technology platforms, preferably within the telecommunications, technology, or digital platform industries.
  2. Proven experience in designing, developing, or maintaining scalable backend services or platforms, particularly those supporting messaging, campaign orchestration, or customer engagement systems.
  3. Experience integrating platforms with multiple communication channels such as SMS, flash messages, push notifications, in-app messaging, or similar digital channels.
  4. Hands-on experience in building or supporting campaign management systems, marketing automation platforms, or customer engagement platforms.
  5. Experience working with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems to support high-volume campaign delivery and real-time engagement use cases.
  6. Familiarity with digital analytics and campaign performance monitoring to support optimization of engagement channels and customer journeys.

Skills:

  1. Proficiency in backend development using Go (Golang), Python, or similar programming languages for building scalable services and platform components.
  2. Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including deployment, monitoring, and system operations.
  3. Strong knowledge of server management, system performance optimization, and infrastructure operations in cloud or hybrid environments.
  4. Experience working with high-performance data stores and caching technologies such as Redis or similar systems.
  5. Familiarity with API development, microservices architecture, and system integration to enable communication between campaign platforms and digital channels.
  6. Understanding of messaging systems and campaign delivery mechanisms for channels such as SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
  7. Ability to analyze platform performance and implement optimization strategies for campaign delivery reliability and scalability.
  8. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration skills to support platform development and operational stability.
