Role Description The Automation Engineer will work on-site in Depok under a contract arrangement, focusing on design, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems for industrial processes. Daily responsibilities include configuring and programming controllers, integrating sensors and actuators, and ensuring reliable operation of process control and robotic systems. The role involves performing diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical and automation issues, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production and project goals. The Automation Engineer will document technical work, follow safety standards, participate in testing and commissioning activities, and provide technical support to operations staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve system and equipment issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Process Control and Automation skills to design, configure, and optimize control systems for industrial applications.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills to interpret electrical schematics, select appropriate components, and ensure safe installation and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess Robotics skills to integrate, program, and maintain robotic systems used in manufacturing or automation environments.
- Relevant experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices in industrial automation is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical information clearly is essential.
