Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple Financial Services audit engagements, ensuring effective planning, execution, and timely delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day engagement matters and maintaining professional client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and KPMG audit methodologies.
- Supervise and review the work of senior team members, providing coaching, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
- Identify and assess audit issues and key risks, and propose appropriate solutions in consultation with Managers and Partners.
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development activities, including identifying potential growth opportunities.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum five to six years of experiences as an external auditor in public accounting firm, with experience in the banking, insurance and multi-finance industries, preferably from a Big Four or similar public accounting firm.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is a significant plus.
- Strong knowledge of audit and accounting principles, with awareness of general IT controls.
- A strong understanding of IFRS and/or PSAK.
- Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken), teamwork and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Completed or in-progress professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) are a plus.
