We Are Hiring: Corporate & Dispute Resolution Associate – Bali

Schinder Law Firm is seeking a qualified and commercially minded lawyer to join our Bali office.

This position is intended for a lawyer who can independently manage corporate, shareholder and dispute-related matters while communicating professionally with clients, notaries, government authorities and other relevant parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle corporate governance, shareholder and commercial dispute matters;
• Review articles of association, shareholding structures, corporate records and transaction documents;
• Advise on PT PMA matters, share transfers, changes of directors and commissioners, and corporate compliance;
• Prepare legal opinions, position papers, warning letters, objections and other legal documents;
• Coordinate with notaries, AHU and other relevant government authorities;
• Assist with litigation, police reports, investigations and court-related procedures where required;
• Develop practical legal strategies to protect clients interests;
• Participate in negotiations, settlements and client meetings;
• Communicate with Indonesian and international clients in English and Bahasa Indonesia; and
• Take ownership of assigned matters and provide timely, accurate progress reports.

Requirements

• Indonesian law degree from a reputable university;
• Minimum three years of relevant professional legal experience;
• Valid Indonesian Advocate Licence and sworn advocate status are mandatory;
• Proven experience in corporate, commercial, dispute resolution or litigation matters;
• Strong legal research, analysis, drafting and case-management skills;
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia;
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and manage deadlines;
• Strong professional ethics, accountability and attention to detail; and
• Willingness to work full-time and on-site in Bali.

The appointment level—Junior Associate, Associate or Senior Associate—will be determined based on the candidate's experience, competence and ability to manage matters independently.
