The Role

Our Restructuring and Insolvency practice offers critical assistance to companies that require balance sheet restructuring or are in liquidation.

For Restructuring, as an Associate you will assist in undertaking financial analysis of a company's financial forecast, participate in stakeholder meetings/management, prepare restructuring proposals and implement solutions for the restructuring of a company's debts.

For Insolvency, as an Associate you will largely undertake the liquidation of a company whereby you will assist in realization of assets, dealing with creditors claims, preparing for creditors meetings, undertake investigations and distribution of assets to creditors. In addition, you will gain exposure to Judicial Management and personal bankruptcy.

As a part of the team, you will gain exposure to both Restructuring and Insolvency.

A&M is rapidly expanding in Southeast Asia and as a result, we are seeking to hire Associates with a real desire to be part of our Restructuring and Insolvency Practice.

Qualifications

  • Graduates with a Bachelor in Accounting or Finance (the ability to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in Indonesia)
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Restructuring and Insolvency, Audit, Corporate Finance, or Banking will also be considered.
  • Possess excellent financial modelling skills and ability to analyse financial statements
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and other preferred language including but not limited to Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia
  • Strong in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of client personnel
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment
