What You Will Do
- Develop project execution plans, schedule, and deliver based on sales budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (utilities, regulators, EPC contractors).
- Manage EPC contracts, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Supervise and approve construction activities, testing, and commissioning.
- Track budgets, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage change orders and claims.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, regulators, vendors and internal departments.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and investors.
- Coordinate with the permitting team to make sure all required licenses are provided on time.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in project management of energy projects (solar preferred).
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification or equivalent is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with local permitting, environmental laws, and grid codes.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV on grid systems.
- Basic knowledge of hybrid renewable systems, and energy storage integration.
- Familiarity with electrical, civil, and mechanical engineering aspects of solar plants.
- Understanding of grid interconnection standards, Lease contracts, and energy market regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Knowledge of EPC processes, procurement, and contract management.
