What you'll do and what success looks like in this role:
- Perform monitoring, enhancement, and analysis of Operational Risk Management (ORM) tools, including RCSA, KRI, LED, and Risk Register.
- Conduct risk trend analysis based on outputs generated from ORM tools.
- Provide recommendations for improvement based on identified findings and risk areas.
- Perform risk assessments of products, activities, and/or business services.
- Review New Product Approval (NPA) documents and provide operational risk opinions.
- Identify potential risks and ensure appropriate risk mitigation measures are in place before the implementation of products or business activities.
- Review policies, procedures, and work guidelines proposed by the First Line of Defense (FLOD).
- Ensure operational risk, compliance risk, reputational risk, and legal risk aspects are adequately considered within policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze Risk Appetite and Risk Tolerance metrics related to Operational Risk, Reputational Risk, Compliance Risk, and Legal Risk.
- Identify and escalate breaches of limits or early warning indicators when detected.
- Validate Key Control Standard (KCS) assessments and the effectiveness of controls implemented by ICOFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting).
- Coordinate with related business units to ensure the quality of control documentation and supporting evidence.
- Prepare, analyze, and periodically present operational risk profile reports.
- Provide accurate and timely risk information to management to support decision-making during Risk Management Committee (RMC) and Risk Management Oversight Committee (RMOC) meetings.
What Is Required and What We're Looking For
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting, Financial Management, Information Systems, Statistics, or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Control, or other related areas within the banking industry.
