Role Description

We're looking for an Art Based Associate Creative Director to help lead the creative output at GPN Indonesia. Working alongside the Executive Creative Director, you'll shape concepts and strategy, guide multidisciplinary teams, and make sure every piece of work that leaves the agency is smart, on-brand, and on-brief. This is a hands-on leadership role, with equal parts ideas, craft, and people. If you think strategically, lead generously, and still love getting into the work itself, we'd love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Executive Creative Director to develop concepts, creative strategies, and client presentations.
  • Lead and supervise multiple projects and teams simultaneously, balancing quality, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Direct the design and development of creative materials across formats and channels.
  • Work closely with account teams and strategists to turn client objectives and insights into creative that delivers.
  • Safeguard brand identity and message consistency in everything the agency produces.
  • Build and nurture client relationships, acting as a trusted creative voice in the room.
  • Lead and energise brainstorming sessions, raising the bar on ideas.
  • Mentor and evaluate the creative team, giving clear feedback and guiding their growth.
  • Stay ahead of trends, tools, and technologies — and bring the best of them into the work.

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of creative experience, with at least 2 in a senior or leadership capacity.
  • A strong portfolio showing range, craft, and conceptual thinking, ideally including entertainment, lifestyle, or brand work.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and multiple projects without dropping quality.
  • Confident presenting and defending creative work directly to clients.
  • Strong command of creative tools and a genuine curiosity about new ones (incl. AI-assisted workflows).
  • Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and a natural collaborator.
