Assistant Tax Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting tax activities and ensuring tax compliance across the company, including tax calculation, reporting, reconciliation, and documentation. This role will work closely with the Finance & Accounting team and relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely tax processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily tax activities and ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Prepare and review monthly tax calculations and tax returns.
• Handle PPh, PPN, PB1, and other relevant taxes.
• Perform tax reconciliation between accounting records and tax reports.
• Assist with e-Faktur, e-Bupot, Coretax, and other tax-related systems.
• Monitor tax payment and reporting deadlines.
• Prepare tax documentation and support tax audits or tax clarification processes.
• Identify potential tax issues and provide recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with internal departments, tax consultants, and external parties when required.
• Keep updated with changes in Indonesian tax regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Tax, preferably in F&B, FMCG, Retail, or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian taxation.
• Hands-on experience with Coretax, e-Faktur, and e-Bupot.
• Good understanding of PPh, PPN, and PB1.
• Experience in tax reconciliation and tax reporting.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good Excel skills and experience using accounting/ERP systems.
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Brevet A & B certification is preferred.
