The Assistant Manager – SAP Project Management Transformation is responsible for driving the execution of SAP‑enabled project management transformation by ensuring disciplined planning, milestone tracking, and delivery governance across all workstreams. The role is accountable for maintaining project timelines by proactively following up with project members and key users on delayed tasks, resolving execution gaps, and escalating risks that may impact delivery. Through structured project governance, stakeholder coordination, and strong execution control, this position ensures a standardized, transparent, and on‑time SAP project management transformation while minimizing delivery and operational risks.
Key Accountabilities:
- By enforcing structured planning, milestone tracking, and SAP project governance standards, this role ensures on‑time delivery of all transformation milestones to protect overall project timelines and business commitments.
- By coordinating execution across all SAP project workstreams and stakeholders, the position ensures aligned and controlled project implementation to prevent delays and execution gaps.
- By proactively monitoring task progress and rigorously following up with key users on delayed deliverables, the role ensures accountability and timely task completion to avoid risks impacting critical deadlines.
- By identifying execution issues early and escalating risks with clear remediation plans, this position maintains transparency and control over project risks to support timely management decision‑making.
- By working closely with IT, business teams, and implementation partners, the role ensures smooth cross‑functional collaboration to minimize misalignment and execution inefficiencies.
- By balancing multiple priorities and adjusting execution focus as project conditions evolve, this position delivers stable and responsive project support to ensure transformation objectives remain achievable in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, SAP Activate) is a plus.
- 4–5 years of experience, including 2–3 years in project or transformation roles.
- Exposure to SAP/enterprise transformation, PMO/governance, and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong experience in managing timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Good understanding of SAP transformation lifecycle and project frameworks.
- Skilled in milestone tracking, risk/issue management, and follow-ups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Familiar with MS Project, Jira, Teams, SharePoint.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Available for 12 months contract employment type.
- Willing to be placed in BSD, South Tangerang.
