Job Description
Our client, a leading Japanese automotive parts manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for their Painting Department to lead automotive painting operations and ensure high-quality finishing standards.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Oversee and manage daily automotive painting operations and production processes
✅ Lead and supervise painting team to achieve quality and productivity targets
✅ Ensure compliance with automotive painting standards, specifications, and safety regulations
✅ Monitor painting equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance
✅ Conduct quality inspections and implement improvement initiatives (Kaizen)
✅ Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance departments
✅ Prepare reports and manage painting department KPIs
✅ Train and develop team members on automotive painting techniques and standards
Requirements
✅ Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Engineering or related field
✅ Minimum 3:5 years of experience as Painting Supervisor in automotive manufacturing industry
✅ Strong knowledge of automotive painting processes, techniques, and equipment
✅ Understanding of automotive painting quality standards and specifications
✅ Japanese language ability is a strong advantage
✅ Strong leadership and team management skills
✅ Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
✅ Willing to be placed in Karawang
