Business Development
- Support the team on market research and analysis to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Support senior leadership to pitch and write concept notes and proposals, respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals), and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Author/Co-author thematic publications (Blogs/Focus notes/Briefing notes)
- Actively engage in social media promotions and marketing.
Business Execution
- Provide support on consulting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, leveraging data-driven insights and persuasive communication skills.
- Contribute to the development of MSC's toolkits and other publications

Requirements
- Postgraduate (MBA, International development, public administration, economics and allied)
- Minimum 4 years experience in related field
- Deep understanding of payment systems, merchant payments, merchant credit, financial distribution networks, including trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, assess market trends, perform risk analysis, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven expertise in management consulting, including project management, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies (e.g., blockchain, AI, machine learning) and their applications in banking and finance.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills within the banking, fin tech, and digital finance sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write reports, develop learning agendas, and present findings to various stakeholders.
- Proven leadership, interpersonal, and cross-cultural collaboration skills, with the ability to build and motivate diverse teams.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
