Get to Know the Role

As an Assistant Manager Engineering, you will lead engineering initiatives to ensure equipment reliability, optimize maintenance systems, and improve utility efficiency across our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate closely with Production and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, oversee engineering projects, and develop a high-performing engineering team that supports operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage asset reliability and preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Ensure the effective execution of corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
• Provide engineering support to Production to minimize downtime and improve operational performance.
• Manage utility systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Plan and oversee machine installation, modification, and engineering improvement projects.
• Coordinate and manage external vendors and contractors for engineering projects and maintenance activities.
• Monitor engineering costs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
• Develop engineering systems, SOPs, and maintenance standards to improve operational effectiveness.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Engineering team to strengthen technical capabilities and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering best practices.

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering, including at least 2 years as an Engineering Supervisor.
• Experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, or Chemical manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in handling machine breakdown, preventive maintenance systems, utility systems, machine installation, vendors, and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of Maintenance & Reliability, Equipment & Utility Management, and Project Modification.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and PLC.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to work in Tangerang, Banten.
