Role Description The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in South Denpasar, supporting the overall operation of the food and beverage outlets across Maya Resorts Group properties. This role assists in supervising daily restaurant, bar, and banquet activities to ensure high-quality service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to resort standards. Responsibilities include coordinating staff schedules, guiding service teams during shifts, and ensuring consistent food and beverage presentation. The role also involves monitoring inventory, supporting budgeting and cost-control processes, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager collaborates with the culinary and service teams to implement training, refine service procedures, and contribute to promotional activities and special events.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, ideally within luxury or resort environments.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Experience in Training and coaching service staff to uphold consistent standards and support continuous improvement.
  • Ability to assist with Budgeting, including cost control, inventory management, and revenue-focused decision-making.
  • Relevant hospitality or hotel management education (diploma or degree) preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Effective leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and local regulatory requirements.
