General Description
The Assistant Utility Engineering Manager has the overall responsibility for operating & maintaining the utility i.e. electrical power facilities (upstream and downstream), compressed air system, yards work, calibrations, building facility maintenance and other utilities equipment. This role will focus on the maintenance and improvement program in Utility area. The program in utility needs to follow Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) methods as this role also act as Environment pillar.


Roles And Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to Safety and Occupational Health procedures

  • Ensure compliance to environmental policy

  • Ensures compliance to GMP and HACCP

  • Provide source of energy to support factory operations

  • Lead energy saving program to support Unilever USLP program & production cost as per target

  • Maintain all utilities equipment, building and all factory general facilities

  • Strictly control on all utilities energy consumption and execute all energy saving taskforce

  • Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts

  • Develop and maintain preventive / schedule maintenance program in all utility areas.

  • Maintain up to date procedural manuals, equipment and system drawing, performance file, service charts and equipment inventory data

  • Estimation, Requisition placement and co-ordinate with procurement department for the required materials

  • Lead of Environment Pillar
