Assistant Engineering Manager

Assist the Engineering Manager in planning, coordinating and controlling engineering activities across multiple projects.

Lead coordination of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and manage interfaces between disciplines.

Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, technical submissions, method statements and project requirements.

Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities within EPC/EPCM projects.

Monitor schedules, engineering deliverables, construction progress, manpower requirements and critical technical issues.

Identify delays, clashes and execution risks and develop practical recovery or corrective action plans.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Planning, Procurement, Cost Control, QA/QC and HSE teams.

Provide technical support for design changes, field issues and urgent construction requirements.

Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, safety and quality requirements.

Prepare progress updates, technical reports and action lists for Engineering Manager / Project Director / Management.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 10+ years of professional engineering / construction experience.

Proven experience in EPC, EPCM or turnkey project environments.

Experience coordinating Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering teams.

Strong civil construction, structural steel, industrial-project and site-execution knowledge.

Ability to review drawings, BOQs, specifications and project schedules.

Good understanding of planning, progress monitoring, QA/QC and HSE interfaces.

Strong English communication, reporting, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD and project-planning software knowledge is an advantage.

Willingness to relocate to Indonesia and travel frequently to project sites.
