Old Spices Catering Services, founded in 2025 by Arifin Tirta Wijata, originated from a home kitchen in 2020, serving small businesses in Denpasar. Due to increased demand, the company expanded into a medium-scale catering operation in 2023. This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Cook located in Bali, Indonesia. The Assistant Cook will support kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring proper food storage, and following recipes and safety standards. The role also involves collaborating with the head chef and team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality meals to clients.

• Proficiency in food preparation techniques, basic cooking skills, and following recipes accurately
• Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene, safety standards, and food storage practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment and follow instructions from the head chef
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to multitask effectively
• Passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn and adapt to new methods
• Prior experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment is a plus
• Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment safely
