We are looking for an Assistant Chief Engineer who is highly motivated to work with our Engineering team for our Delonix Hotel Karawang.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures for all equipment and systems in the hotel
- Assist Chief engineer to ensure the safety of guests and employees by maintaining all safety equipment and systems
- Manage a team of engineers and maintenance professionals, delegating tasks and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and effectively
- Oversee capital projects and renovations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Create and manage the engineering and maintenance operating budget
- Monitor and maintain all energy systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Continually seek out ways to improve the resort's operations and guest experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as Assistant Chief engineering or maintenance management, with a background in hospitality strongly preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment
- Excellent leadership and management skills, able to effectively manage a team
- Budget management experience, able to create and manage operating budgets
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate with employees at all levels
