Role Summary:
As an Assistant Category Manager for Marketplace, you will be responsible for managing brand accounts across various marketplace platforms, with a strong focus on driving sales growth, optimizing performance, and enhancing brand visibility. This role involves end-to-end ownership of marketplace operations, including pricing, inventory, reporting, and campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drivesales and GPV (Gross Product Value) targets for each brand across multiple countries and marketplaces
- Plan and execute pricing strategies and promotions during both BAU periods and major campaign events
- Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and target achievement across platforms
- Conduct regular performance reporting and analysis, identifying actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Manage and maintain brand store presence, ensuring alignment with key product priorities and brand guidelines
- Collaborate and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with category and department stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, or a related field
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketplace operations
- Hands-on experience with marketplace platforms and Seller Center tools
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SAP and Vinculum is a strong advantage
