PT Kredit Biro Indonesia Jaya (Credit Bureau Indonesia, CBI) as one of the private credit bureaus in Indonesia has been established since 2014 and obtained an operational license from Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) as Lembaga Pengelola Informasi Perkreditan (LPIP) in 2015.

In November 2021, after obtaining approval from OJK, CBI received additional capital from shareholders and appointed a new management team, which aims to provide new and leading-edge services and products. This new identity will also strengthen CBI&aposs position as the 'best-in-class, modern and innovative' credit bureau in Indonesia.

Job Overview

The Assistant Business Manager will play a key role in supporting the growth and performance of our retail consumer segment, focusing on mobile applications and 360 marketing strategies. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution to drive market expansion and optimize business growth within set timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Growth Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of data-driven strategies to grow and retain the customer base, improve brand visibility, and increase market penetration.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and timelines.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor and report on the impact of business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Track and analyze KPIs related to business growth, partnerships, and performance; provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular performance updates and reports for leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with marketing, product, and R&D teams to embed growth and partnership strategies into broader business objectives.
  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns, product initiatives, and partner-related activations that support business goals.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia; intermediate Mandarin is a plus for cross-functional coordination.
  • Understanding of consumer behavior, particularly within fintech mobile applications.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience working with external marketing or strategic partners.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business growth, marketing, or strategy, preferably within a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Proficient in using data and analytics tools to inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence in stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to drive execution across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and business intelligence dashboards.
