Company Description GRANARY ART CENTER is an art education and workshop provider serving learners of all ages, based inGreen Lake City , Tangerang with an additional branch in Greater Jakarta. The center offers a wide range of classes in traditional art, including drawing, oil pastel, and painting, as well as digital art using tools such as ibisPaint, Procreate, and Photoshop. Learners can also explore craft-based practices like relief painting and sculpture figures, and receive guidance to build strong technical drawing portfolios for architecture and interior design. GRANARY ART CENTER regularly organizes student art exhibitions and collaborates with local artists, creating an active and supportive creative community for both learners and educators.
Role Description The Art Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Kota Wisata Cibubur, responsible for delivering engaging art lessons to learners of various ages and skill levels. This role includes planning and facilitating classes in traditional and digital art, as well as craft projects, while adapting content to suit different learning needs. The Art Teacher will guide students in project, provide constructive feedback, and support preparation for exhibitions and collaborative events with local artists. Day-to-day tasks include preparing teaching materials, maintaining a safe and inclusive studio environment, monitoring student progress, communicate with parents, and participating in staff meetings and program development.

Qualifications
  • Practical Teaching and Art Education skills, including the ability to instruct learners of diverse ages and backgrounds.
  • Technical and creative drawing & painting skills, with experience in traditional and/or digital media.
  • Clear communication and classroom management skills, with a focus on creating an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to mentor students in portfolio development and preparation for exhibitions or further study.
  • Relevant education in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related fields is beneficial; prior teaching or tutoring experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital art tools (e.g., Procreate, ibisPaint, Photoshop) and interest in collaborating with local artists and communities is an advantage.
