As a Sales Manager Team, you will be responsible for leading area sales strategy and team performance to achieve targets, analyzing market and promotional effectiveness, and ensuring strong stakeholder coordination for optimal execution and reporting.
What will you do
- Develop sales and promotional strategies tailored to local market conditions within the assigned area.
- Take full ownership of achieving and exceeding sales targets set by the company.
- Lead, supervise, coach, motivate, and evaluate the performance of the sales team (including Supervisors and Sales Promotion Leaders/SPL) to ensure optimal results.
- Analyze Snack sales and market data, evaluate the effectiveness of promotional programs, and monitor competitor activities within the area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, PIC Distributor, retail outlets, and customers to ensure product availability and smooth distribution.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with departments such as Supply Chain, Logistics (Distribution), and Administration (Distributor Admin and internal Admin teams) to ensure aligned execution of strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, key challenges, and the outcomes of promotional programs for management review.
What are we looking for
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) from any major.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or promotion, preferably in snacks within the FMCG industry, especially in the Kalimantan area.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
Skills
Technical Skills (Hard Skills):
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data for strategic decision-making.
- Proven ability to develop effective sales and promotional strategies.
- Basic financial management skills, including managing promotional and operational budgets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
Interpersonal Skills (Soft Skills):
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with teams, distributors, and customers.
- Target-driven mindset with strong ownership in achieving sales targets, including RO and AO in the Kalimantan area.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
- Well-organized with strong delegation and management capabilities.
Additional Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of the assigned market and area, with strong relationships with buyers (CKA and LMT) in Kalimantan.
- Willing to travel for business trips as required.
- Holds a valid SIM A and is able to drive a car (depending on company needs).
