Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales and marketing execution within a designated territory. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, building a strong sales pipeline, and increasing market share in the assigned area. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and collaborative, with proven experience in managing field sales teams and working with distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales performance and revenue growth within the assigned territory
  • Develop and execute area-specific sales and marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to generate new business opportunities
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Manage relationships with external distributors, partners, and key customers
  • Support the development and execution of annual sales forecasts and marketing plans
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share and strengthen presence in the assigned region
  • Ensure effective collaboration between internal teams (marketing, supply chain, and product teams)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in technical sales or relevant industry
  • Proven experience managing a territory/area and achieving sales targets
  • Experience working with distributors or channel partners
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and reporting skills
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
