What are we building

We are developing a platform which will help our field operations team to effectively manage their task, capture cultivation logs from million plus hectares of paddy fields, effectively manage the supply chain of agri-inputs and aggregate third party services required during the lifecycle of paddy fields.

The Current tech stack includes React Native for mobile applications, ReactJs for web app powered by Rest APIs developed with JAVA using Spring and Hibernate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operation of multiple nodes in their assigned region
  • Well understanding in operation planning, strategy, and execution to develop area of responsibilities
  • Responsible to lead their field team to consolidate all acquisition, revenue generation, technology implementation, and collection reports on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis
  • Conduct market analysis, market intelligence, and business operational activities to provide insights to the field team
  • Create and build strong relationships with key farming community influencers, local government, business partners, and other related stakeholders
  • Consolidate product purchasing request and prepare analytical information to manage supply chain process to meet with real demand
  • Create list sales orders for purchase orders received from their field team and coordinate with supply chain manager
  • Supervise local third party logistics in keeping our stock and deliver goods to customers
  • Manage issue incurring and come up with problem solving by coordinating with the related departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in operations, area management, supply chain, or field operations, preferably in agritech, agriculture, FMCG, or startup environment
  • Strong sales and business development capabilities with proven track record in revenue generation and market expansion
  • Proven experience managing multiple operational areas or branches with strong execution capability
  • Experience leading and managing field teams with strong people management and coaching skills
  • Experience working closely with farming communities or agricultural ecosystems
  • Familiar with market analysis, business operations, and data reporting
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships with farmers, local communities, government institutions, and business partners
  • Able to handle operational issues independently and provide effective problem-solving in fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working in dynamic startup environments with high adaptability and ownership mindset
  • Willing to travel frequently and be based in assigned operational areas
