The Integration Analyst serves as a vital bridge between business requirements and IT system architecture. This role focuses on designing, configuring, and integrating various banking applications and services to ensure internal and external APIs and web services communicate securely, reliably, and efficiently from initial requirement analysis all the way through deployment and final go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical system specifications, designing application architectures and configurations that satisfy business goals.
- Draft and maintain comprehensive technical and project documentation, including Technical Design Documents (TED/TSD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Product Requirement Documents (PRD), and Handover Certificates (BAST).
- Analyze, configure, and test external and internal RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication across application ecosystems.
- Prepare test data and actively support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution.
- Communicate and align continuously with key stakeholders, including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, and Application Designers, to ensure smooth end-to-end integration.
- Monitor surrounding systems to ensure operational stability through final go-live, while proactively proposing innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of IT experience within the banking or financial services industry.
- Have at least 3 years of hands-on experience working as a System Analyst.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience preparing standard IT project documentation (FSD, TSD, PRD, BAST).
- Possess a solid technical understanding of RESTful API architecture and integration mechanics.
- Demonstrate strong system diagnostic, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills alongside strong interpersonal abilities.
- Display a proactive, disciplined, highly detail-oriented, and structured approach to execution.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Hands-on programming experience (e.g., Java, Kotlin, C, C++).
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL Queries.
