Application Engineer (Electrical)

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical application support for diesel power generator systems in data center and industrial projects.
• Review customer specifications and Single Line Diagrams (SLD) to ensure proper system configuration.
• Evaluate generator performance based on project load profiles and operational requirements.
• Assist in design evaluation and recommend improvements for performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Support cross-functional teams in resolving technical and performance-related issues.
• Coordinate with factories and vendors to ensure alignment on specifications, testing requirements, and delivery schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in testing, quality control, or applications engineering, preferably involving diesel power generators or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine operations, performance metrics, and troubleshooting methods.
• Proficiency in creating test plans, executing tests, and diagnosing technical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with generator control systems, protection principles, and power system integration.
• Experience in data center or mission-critical power infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 8528 standards for generator performance and testing.
• CIBD certification.
