Job Description

Job Purpose

The Anti-Fraud Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's Anti-Fraud Strategy in accordance with POJK No. 12 Tahun 2024, SIPELAKU requirements, and the company's risk management framework. This role leads fraud risk assessment, investigation, prevention, awareness, and regulatory reporting to mitigate internal and external fraud risks.

Key Responsibilities

Anti-Fraud Governance & Framework

  • Develop and maintain Anti-Fraud policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with POJK No. 12 Tahun 2024, SIPELAKU, and the company's fraud risk program.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the Anti-Fraud Strategy across the organization.
  • Periodically review and update Anti-Fraud frameworks to align with regulatory changes and emerging fraud risks.

Fraud Risk Assessment

  • Conduct and maintain a company-wide fraud risk assessment covering internal and external fraud risks.
  • Identify fraud risk indicators, control gaps, and mitigation plans.
  • Monitor fraud risk exposure and recommend preventive and detective controls.

Fraud Investigation & Case Management

  • Lead and conduct investigations related to internal and external fraud cases.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with relevant departments for investigation, follow-up actions, and case evaluation.
  • Prepare investigation reports, root cause analysis, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Escalate significant fraud cases to Management in a timely manner.

External Coordination & Fund Recovery

  • Act as the main PIC and collaborate with relevant departments in coordination with the Indonesia Anti-Scam Center (IASC) for fund recovery efforts.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including law enforcement and financial institutions, when required.

Fraud Prevention & Awareness

  • Collaborate with KYC/KYB, Marketing, and related teams to conduct customer fraud education initiatives, including:
  • Anti-Fraud clauses in Terms & Conditions
  • Customer education materials and campaigns
  • Develop and deliver Anti-Fraud awareness programs for employees and external parties, including Anti-Fraud declarations and training sessions.

Insurance & Loss Mitigation

  • Coordinate with relevant departments to assess and arrange insurance coverage as a mitigation measure for potential fraud losses.
  • Support claims processes related to fraud incidents, when applicable.

Regulatory Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit Anti-Fraud reports to the Regulator in accordance with POJK No. 12 Tahun 2024, including:
  • Anti-Fraud Strategy
  • Implementation of the Anti-Fraud Strategy
  • Significant fraud incidents with material impact
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regulatory reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Anti-Fraud, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, or Investigation.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or capital markets is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with POJK No. 12 Tahun 2024 and fraud-related regulatory requirements is a strong advantage.
