Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the operational excellence of Ancillary Services, including Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Medical Rehabilitation, Nutrition Services, Medical Records, Hospital Information System (SIRS), Casemix, and other supporting medical services.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve clinical support service standards in accordance with national regulations, accreditation standards, professional guidelines, and evidence-based practices.
  • Coordinate the development and evaluation of clinical practice guidelines, clinical pathways, medical protocols, and ancillary clinical care guidelines to ensure quality and standardized patient care.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives across ancillary services by monitoring quality indicators, supporting patient safety programs, and ensuring continuous compliance with hospital accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support service development initiatives, including service expansion, workforce planning, and the development of Centers of Excellence based on organizational needs and service trends.
  • Analyze operational and clinical service data to provide recommendations for improving service effectiveness, operational performance, and patient experience.
  • Oversee case management and Casemix-related initiatives, including monitoring claim verification outcomes, supporting BPJS claim optimization, and improving ancillary service performance.
  • Lead the review and evaluation of ancillary service tariffs by conducting benchmarking and ensuring competitiveness while aligning with the hospital's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and mentor leaders across ancillary service units to foster high-performing teams and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and professional qualification in Medicine (General Practitioner), Nursing (Ners), Pharmacy (Apothecary), Nutrition, Medical Records, or other relevant healthcare disciplines.
  • Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MARS) is preffered.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in hospital operations or ancillary medical services, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple ancillary service units, such as Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Medical Rehabilitation, Nutrition Services, Medical Records, Hospital Information System (SIRS), or Casemix.
  • Strong understanding of hospital accreditation standards, clinical governance, healthcare regulations, quality management, patient safety, and BPJS reimbursement processes.
  • Experience in service development, workforce planning, operational excellence, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a hospital setting.
