BNC is looking for an Analytics Engineer to help build and enhance the data infrastructure that powers data-driven decision-making across the organization.
In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable data warehouse and analytics solutions that support critical banking operations, reporting, and business initiatives. You will work across data engineering, data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence, partnering with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to turn complex data requirements into reliable and actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BNC's data warehouse architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple internal and external sources into the data warehouse.
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business reporting, analytics, and operational requirements.
- Optimize data warehouse performance through SQL query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and other performance-enhancement techniques.
- Establish and maintain data quality standards and processes for data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring.
- Implement appropriate data security controls and practices to protect sensitive information within the data environment.
- Ensure data solutions comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and data governance standards.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, technology teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BNC's data architecture, engineering practices, and analytics capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data analytics, data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience designing and implementing data infrastructure and data warehouse solutions.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT frameworks, data warehousing, and big data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data solutions, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, data quality, and business intelligence concepts.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to data accuracy, quality, and reliability.
