We are looking for an experienced AI-native Software Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality software while leveraging modern AI-powered development tools.
Unlike traditional software engineering roles that focus on a specific programming language, this position emphasizes strong software engineering fundamentals, adaptability across technologies, and the ability to use AI coding agents effectively throughout the software development lifecycle.
You will work with existing codebases, rapidly understand complex systems, and utilize AI-assisted workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and maintainability. This role is ideal for engineers who embrace modern development practices and continuously explore new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications across various technology stacks.
- Quickly understand and contribute to existing codebases with minimal onboarding time.
- Utilize AI coding assistants and AI-native development workflows to accelerate software delivery while maintaining high code quality.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, maintainable, and well-structured software solutions.
- Perform code reviews, refactoring, debugging, and performance improvements.
- Design and implement automated testing strategies to ensure software reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Analyze complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt modern software engineering practices and AI-assisted development techniques.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Ability to quickly understand and work within existing codebases.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and system design.
- Experience with software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and automated testing.
- Solid experience performing code refactoring and improving code maintainability.
- Experience using modern AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, ChatGPT, or similar) as part of the software development process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and work across different programming languages and technology stacks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
