AI Intern

Kitameraki is a technology consulting firm delivering Microsoft-based solutions across Indonesia and the region — modern BI platforms, Power BI dashboards, Microsoft 365 and custom business applications.

We are looking at how AI can improve the internal processes our own teams handle every day. 

You will work directly with our Data Scientist Consultant on Kitameraki's internal AI initiatives.

• Map how our internal processes currently work
• Build and test internal AI prototypes using LLM APIs
• Evaluate AI tools and platforms against a real internal need and report back on what they can and cannot do
• Prepare internal enablement material: how-to guides, prompt libraries, short demos, and walkthroughs for colleagues adopting a new tool
• Document methods, prompts, configurations, assumptions, and limitations so the work can be reproduced and handed over
• Research techniques, tools, and comparable use cases when an initiative calls for something new

The scope may broaden over the internship. If an initiative starts to involve analysis or modelling, you would work on that alongside our Data Scientist Consultant.

• Final-year student or fresh graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Genuine interest in AI, with some practical exposure: coursework, personal projects, or self-directed learning
• Basic programming ability, Python preferred
• Able to break a process down into steps and spot where the friction actually sits
• Able to write clearly in English and Bahasa Indonesia 
• Available to work from our Yogyakarta office for the internship period of 6 months
