AI Engineer

Role Summary

At Commsult, we build enterprise mobile solutions integrated with SAP; powering logistics, warehouse, and production processes for clients across Indonesia and the DACH region. As we scale our AI capabilities, we are expanding our technology team with engineers who can translate AI potential into production-ready systems.

We are looking for a capable and passionate AI Engineer to work hands-on on commsult's AI systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the AI logic and systems that power our products, building and operating autonomous agents that automate complex workflows, and ensuring that AI capabilities are utilized effectively across our solutions. This role is focused on building, optimizing, and delivering high-quality AI work day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Logic & System

• Design and implement AI logic and reasoning pipelines used in commsult's products and client solutions.
• Develop and test AI systems for tasks such as process automation, AI agents workflow, RAG system, and AI ecosystem.
• Identify and fix issues in AI behavior including edge cases, errors, and inconsistencies.

AI System Development and Optimization

• Build and maintain AI systems that execute multi-step tasks and interact with internal and external systems.
• Configure AI system process and optimize structures using AI frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or any related AI frameworks.
• Test AI system end to end, apply safety guardrails, and monitor performance after deployment.
•  Apply prompt engineering and RAG pipelines to improve AI output quality and reliability.
• Optimize AI usage for performance and cost efficiency across deployments.

Integration & Documentation

• Maintaining MCP and connector to internal and external services
• Write clear documentation for AI systems and participate in code reviews. 

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or a related field would be preferred.
• 1+ years of AI or LLM-based system experience
• Understand the logic behind AI, Machine Learning, MCP, and Agentic system
• Experience with LLM APIs: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or LLMs equivalents.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English is a must.
• Familiar with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, pgvector, etc.).
• Basic cloud deployment experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and comfort with Docker and REST APIs is a plus.
• A portfolio or GitHub showing AI agent or LLM project work is a plus.
• AI/ML certifications are a plus but not required.
