We are looking for an Agentic Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in modern data platforms and AI-driven data engineering. You will be responsible for designing and building intelligent data pipelines and workflows that leverage AI and agentic capabilities, going beyond traditional ETL approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data workflows.
- Build AI-driven and agentic data engineering solutions to automate data processing, orchestration, monitoring, and decision-making.
- Work with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Kafka, Spark, and Airflow.
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into data pipelines and enterprise data workflows.
- Develop intelligent, self-managing, and automated data workflows rather than traditional ETL-only solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Contribute to data architecture, solution design, and technical documentation.
- Support regional projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders across different teams and locations.
- Participate in consulting activities such as RFPs, BQs, solution proposals, and technical presentations where required.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- Databricks
- Microsoft Fabric
- Snowflake
- Apache Kafka
- Apache Spark
- Apache Airflow
- Strong understanding of data engineering, data pipelines, data orchestration, and distributed data processing.
- Practical experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, or Agentic AI.
- Strong Agentic-first mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to use AI agents for data automation and workflow orchestration.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, production-ready data solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Must be fluent in English to effectively support regional projects.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience in solution architecture or technical consulting.
- Previous experience working on RFPs, BQs, proposals, or client-facing solution design.
- Experience designing enterprise data architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience leading technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
