Alamii Food is a fast-growing FMCG startup on a mission to make healthy snacking a habit for the next generation. The Role
We're looking for a hands-on technical problem-solver to lead Alamii's digital transformation from the inside. You'll identify manual, repetitive processes across departments and replace them with smart, reliable automation, one project at a time.
This isn't a role for someone who waits for perfect requirements. It's for a builder who moves fast, knows when to code and when to use the right tool, and takes full ownership from idea to stable deployment.
What You'll Do
Rapid Automation
- Build automated workflows connecting platforms we already use : WhatsApp, Google Sheets, ERP/databases, and more using tools like Make.com, n8n, or Zapier
- Reduce manual handoffs across Sales, Finance, Operations, and other departments
AI Implementation
- Integrate AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini) to automate tasks like summarizing chats, reading images and receipts, and validating data
- Apply prompt engineering to build practical, reliable AI-powered workflows
Internal Tools (Low-Code)
- Build lightweight internal dashboards and web apps for data validation and visual reporting using platforms like Retool, Appsmith, Metabase, or Looker
- Make data accessible and actionable for non-technical teams
Data Pipeline & Sanitization
- Write lightweight scripts to extract, clean, and standardize data (ETL) from external distributors into our internal database
- Ensure data is consistent, reliable, and ready for reporting
Project Ownership & Documentation
- Own the full project lifecycle , one project per phase, from scoping to stable deployment
- Document every system you build so it's maintainable without you in the room
- Only move to the next initiative once the current one is running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in Business Automation, Data Engineering, or IT/System Analysis — with a proven track record of building internal solutions independently
- Hands on mastery of low code/no code platforms: Make.com, Zapier, n8n, Retool, Metabase, or equivalent
- Comfortable with REST APIs, Webhooks, basic SQL, and prompt engineering for LLMs
- Basic coding skills in Python or JavaScript for when automation tools aren't enough
- A pragmatic Build vs. Buy mindset : you know when to write code and when to use the right SaaS tool to get things done faster and safer
- Strong communicator who can translate non-technical problems from Sales, Finance, or Ops into clean, automated workflows
- Self directed and focused : you finish what you start before moving on
