Responsibilities:

The role holder will be required to assist the Head of Actuarial IFRS 17 by working independently and managing Actuarial IFRS 17 Reporting team to:

• Review and produce financials and MI reports under IFRS 17 in cooperation with IFRS 17 Accounting and IT teams.
• Perform analytical review of financial and MI results to provide comfort to Head of Corporate Actuarial, Chief Actuary, and CFO.
• Perform bridging of financial and MI results against Business Plan, Forecast, and other reporting basis (e.g. EV, IFRS 4, or GIECA) to provide comfort to Head of Corporate Actuarial, Chief Actuary, and CFO.
• Identify and perform process and methodology refinement to optimize reporting processes to shorten working day timetable and improve IFRS 17 financial metrics.
• Collaborate with Group Finance team to manage the process of review and sign-off on the financial and MI reports;
• Manage auditor engagement on IFRS 17 audit by providing necessary explanations and evidences required.
• Identify and address defects in the reporting solutions and methodology in collaboration with IFRS 17 Solution team and Group Technical.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant life insurance experience
• Have experience in managing team and non-actuarial stakeholders management
• Good actuarial exam progress (min. Associate of recognized international actuarial association or qualified local actuary); Qualified Actuaries (FSAI, FSA, FIA, or equivalent) are preferred.
• Good analytical and technical skills, i.e. Ms. Office, VBA, actuarial software (Prophet or Axis) and SQL.
