Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, review, and delivery of GIECA reporting to Group Office with high accuracy and timely delivery
  • Lead and drive strategic actuarial projects
  • Support cross-functional project initiatives to drive the company's strategic objectives.
  • Provide insightful analysis of actuarial and financial results, clearly communicating key drivers, risks, opportunities, and business implications to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering technical excellence, strong performance, and a collaborative working environment.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years experience in actuarial functions with significant experience in reporting.
  • Fellow of the local actuarial society (FSAI), or Associate/Fellow of the international actuarial society (FSA, FIA, FIAA).
  • Strong technical actuarial skills.
  • Leadership and people management capability, including effective coaching and development for team members.
  • Ability to drive change and improve processes and resource planning.
  • Experience of operating in Life Insurance business.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand financial statements and reports.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator (oral and written) and fluent in English.
  • Sufficient knowledge of insurance product & cashflows and actuarial reporting.
