Accounting & Tax Specialist

Job Description:

• Accounting Operations: Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial transactions.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly and annual financial records.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax laws.
• Cost Accounting: Analyze and report on production costs, helping to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Vendor Management: Oversee financial interactions with over 100 vendors, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in accounting and tax roles, with experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Skills: Strong understanding of tax regulations, cost accounting, and financial reporting. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel/Spreadsheet.
