Accounting & Tax Officer (Kendal)

About the Role

As an Accounting & Tax Officer, you are responsible to ensure accurate financial recording, timely tax compliance, and reliable financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations. This role supports the manufacturing business by maintaining accounting records, preparing tax filings, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Requirements:

• Record daily financial transactions accurately and timely into the accounting system.
• Prepare and maintain General Ledger (GL), journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare financial reports in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Monitor prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
• Support inventory valuation and reconciliation with warehouse and production records.
• Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax reports accurately and on time.
• Calculate, reconcile, and report corporate taxes.
• Prepare tax payment documentation and ensure timely tax payments.
• Maintain tax documentation and support tax audits or tax authority inquiries.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure company compliance.
• Willing to be placed in Kendal.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Finance.
• Brevet A & B Certification is required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Accounting and Tax.
• Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.
• Experienced in using SAP.
