About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and eager-to-learn Accounting & Tax Intern to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting and tax operations, assist with financial reporting and month-end closing activities, and help maintain accurate financial records. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you'll gain practical exposure to accounting processes, tax compliance, and financial analysis while developing a strong foundation in corporate finance within a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in preparing journal entries and supporting schedules for month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, receivables, payables, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain accounting documents to ensure accurate and complete financial records.
  • Assist in reviewing accounting transactions and financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and audit documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Assist with accounting projects and other ad-hoc assignments as required.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
